ET-Map: Decrypted (Final)

Axis must keep the decrypted documents until the reinforcement to arrive. First they must save the doors witch are very good protection. Secondary, they must keep control of the transmitter witch is the key of salvation.

Allies have to get back the decrypted documents to their brain trust in order to change the code and change their war plans. They must enforce this axis basement, begining by doors to get decrypted documents back home.

Ragnars Battery Script adds a Bunker Assault Ramp and a rebuildable Backdoor to the map Battery using a ETPro map script.

Changes:
  • After Allies have built the Beach Assault Ramp for the 5th time it can only be destroyed by dynamite.
  • Bunker Assault Ramp near the North-West MG Nest available (see the command map for location). Allies can build the Bunker Assault Ramp by using the materials inside the bunker.
  • Axis can rebuild the Backdoor. Allies need dynamite to destroy the Backdoor for the first time. For all subsequent attacks also satchels can be used to destroy it.
  • Axis can spawn near the backdoor as long as the Axis command post is up and running (this is different from the ETPro map script where Axis spawn at the command post).
  • The command post and Axis MG nests are already built on map start.
  • The Generator and the Backdoor are decoupled, so the Generator does not open or close the Backdoor - it does only operate the doors near the Gun resp. the door at the bunker front.
  • The MG42 nests in the East Bunker (near the Command Post) are removed.
  • Frontline mod (see below for description).
  • The script includes all ETPro map script fixes.
  • The script includes mortis' script fixes for Battery.

This zip contains enhanced mapscripts for Railgun, based on the ETPro 3.1.13 mapscripts.
The mapscripts provide 2, 4 or 6 additional spawn positions at the upper level of the Tower near the Railgun.
You can choose the number accordingly to server size resp. style of play.

How it works:
The "Axis Tower Spawn" is enabled at mapstart.
It will be disabled when Axis capture the "Depot Yard".
When Allies recapture the "Depot Yard", the "Axis Tower Spawn" is enabled again.
The "Axis Tower Spawn" gets disabled permanently, when Axis transported the ammo back to the crane, i.e. when Axis have to drive the 2nd tug.

This is a fun map for panzerwar. The gravity is set to 200 that you can go everywhere. Almost all the platforms are moving so it really looks like space. At the bottom of the map is a jump platform that launches you back. It's pure for fun so have some.

This is a good sized map for 10-15 players per side. Holds up to 32 players.

Again a snipermap why? Because I like making them. :-) There are 2 giant spaceships in this map. The gravity is set to 250 that you feel like really being in space. It's not really a serious map but it's real nice sniping. There is no passing, when you fall of the ship you die! Die! Die!

Axis Gold ist eine Objektivemap. Die Alliierten müssen eine der Bunkertüren (First- oder Seconddoor) spregen um in den Axis-Komplex zu gelangen. Mittels Fahrstuhl oder Treppen gelangt man auf höhere Ebene zum Tresor der das Gold beinhaltet, welcher auch gesprengt werden muß. Das Gold wird dann zum fahrbereiten LKW (nahe Alliiertenspawn) gebracht.

Aufgrund der hohen Anfrage werden wir ein neues Baserace Turnier veranstalten! Beginn des Turniers wird der 26 Juli sein! Zugelassen werden wie immer 32 Clans! Anmeldungen bitte im Forum.
Bitte meldet genug Spieler an, diesmal wird es keine Nominierung während des Cups geben, der Administrative Aufwand ist einfach zu groß! Anmeldeschluss ist Turnierbeginn!
Regeln werden im Forum und hier in den Newskommentaren zu lesen sein!
Wir hoffen das Ihr und wir, wieder genausoviel Spaß haben werdet wie die letzten Jahre und vor allem jeder doch hoffentlich an das Motto glaubt dabeisein ist alles!
Alles ist es natürlich nicht!

ET-Map: Battle of Wolken 4 (Final)

To the horror of the Allied forces the Axis have managed to construct a monster sized cannon in the same vain as the Dora railgun back on Earth, only difference is that this new weapon named Wolkekanone runs on tank style treds rather than rail track. A test fire of this weapon is due later tonight if succesfull it wont be long till the tred system is operational and the weapon deployed on the battlefield. Allies must knock out this weapon before the test fire to avoid certain doom.

Nach einer längeren Ruhephase ist es nun wieder Zeit für einen #ET-Cup

Wie früher, knüpfen wir an unser altes Konzept an - 6v6 - 16 Teams - 1 Gewinner - der Cup wird an einem actionreichen Tag ausgespielt. Somit werden von den 16 Teams schon abends die zwei Finalisten feststehen.
Genau wie die ESL und Clanbase werden wir an dem sommerlichen Mappool festhalten. Oasis ist wieder zurück im competition Modus und zählt damit neben sw_goldrush_te, Braundorf_b4 und Bremen_b2 zu den 4 gespielten Maps.
Alle weiteren Infos hier kurz im Überblick:

Gespielt wird durchweg mit der 6v6 CB Config - einzig auf Oasis wird auf die Euro 6v6 Config zurückgegriffen, da die CB Config auf dieser Map Schwierigkeiten bereitet.

Die Signups sind ab heute bis Samstag 14.00 CET geöffnet - die Brackets werden dann am Samstag gegen 17.00 CET auf der Cupseite veröffentlicht.

Allied forces have finally discovered the whereabouts of the Axis air base where they have been launching their attacks onto the over stretched Allies. It is important that the Allied forces must knock out this facility if they are to have any real chance of winning the Battle of Wolken. The only real problem is that the majority of the air base is located inside a mountain which doesn,t seem easily impregnable.

Allied forces have uncovered an Axis base in Southern regions which contains a prototype of a new weapon named Turmfaust which is to be test fired today. Allies are planning to sabotage this test fire and try halt the deployment of this new weapon on the battlefield.

RtCW2 auf Quakecon im August

Entgegen so mancher Spekulation hat id Software auf der E3 in Santa Monica nicht ihr neues Spiel vorgestellt. Es waren zwar einige id-Entwickler vor Ort, diese konzentrierten sich aber auf die Präsentation des Multiplayer-Shooters Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Dafür hatte jedoch der id-Mitbegründer und Lead Designer Tim Willits in einem Interview mit der US-Webseite IGN, eine interessante Ankündigung parat. Demnach soll auf der Quakecon vom 2. bis 5. August 2007 in Dallas nicht nur das bisher namenlose, neue Spiel vorgestellt, sondern erstmals auch mehr von Return to Castle Wolfenstein 2 gezeigt werden.

Willits: "We've tried to do things in the game that is different from Return to Castle Wolfenstein, that expands the Wolfenstein universe and adds some play variety. Gamers nowadays want more, they want broader, they want wider choices and we're really trying to, without saying too much, make the game different and make something that people haven't played before on id technology."

I've always liked Würzburg Radar, I just wished it would stop raining.
So I have done a conversion of this classic ET map to make it sunny with unlimited views to the horizon. To make it more interesting than just having nicer weather, I included these changes:
  • Extra Axis spawn location in the Road Hut - this helps them fight back more quickly when Allies take the Bunker. They will automatically spawn there if the Allies capture the bunker, unless the side door has been blown.
  • 2 extra Allied primary objectives - destroy the North and South Radar Stations.
  • New Allied victory conditions: achieve any 3 of the 4 primary objectives for victory. That is, Allies win if they steal both radar parts and blow up one station, or if they steal one radar part and blow up both stations.
  • A lot of the player clipping has been removed, allowing players to get onto high places previously not possible.
  • The tank in the garage can now be repaired by Axis, and driven up the road to a defensive position.
  • New terrain textures, and things like owl hoots replaced with bird song.
  • Axis respawn time reduced from 30 secs to 24 secs.
  • Extra Side Door must be blown to gain access.

Der sl.GameLauncher ist in einer neuen Version (0.8.1) verfügbar, um Quake Wars unterstützen zu können. Das Update kommt automatisch die kommenden Tage auf euren Rechner oder für die, die nicht warten wollen über die manuelle Updatefunktion. Somit könnt ihr wie gewohnt über die Splatterladder nun auch QW-Server joinen.


The sl.GameLauncher is available in a new version (0.8.1), which now supports ET:QW. You will recieve the update automatically during the next days and those who cannot wait should use the manual update-procedure. So now you can join QW-server as you were used to connect to ET-server.SplatterLadder


ET-Map: Hospital Sniper (Beta 1)

Again a new snipermap, and its called Hospital. Lots of wounded soldiers stayed after the war in hospitals for recovering but... a major attack of snipers are attacking the hospitals so now you gotto shoot back too. There is a way to cross in this map but when you come too the other side a loud air alarm will go off ,so the enemy wouldt now that there is bad company. You also can snipe from the ambulances and you can turn the sirenes on for nice effect.
So it's an open space and four levels high building. Hide, run, you can do everything in that map. It also makes fun jumping from high too low all over the building. Long hallways inside the hospital. I hope everybody likes this map.
