ET-Map: Raw Castle (Final)

The allied army has taken a farm in East Anglia. There is a castle down the hills, the Axis is using it as their stronghold. The fortress is strongly defended by an old big wall which the allies will have to pass through. Valuable documents are resting into a vault, at the castle. Will the Allies be able to steal and transmit them?

Was für ein Sommer! Bei den Temperaturen kommt man schon mal ins Schwitzen und auch auf den ET Schlachtfeldern geht es zurzeit heiß her. Am Wochenende die Enlarged LAN, die Crossfire LAN kurze Zeit später und zum krönenden Abschluss noch die QuakeCon - das ET Herz schlägt in diesen Wochen mehrmals höher. Die ESL legt für alle ET Spieler und Fans jetzt sogar noch einen drauf!

Der Event wurde für die folgende Spieler angekündigt:

Counter-Strike: Source - 4000€
Unreal Tournament 2004 - 1500€
Warcraft 3: Defence of the Ancients - 1500€
Pro Evolution Soccer 5 - 1000€
Enemy Territory - 1500€
Fifa06 - 2000€
Community Game - 1000€
Insgesamt geht es um 12.500€ und wir sind stolz, dass ET hier dabei ist!

How it works
Der Premiership ist ein Ligasystem was wir in ET bislang für die Gruppenphasen verwendet haben. Nun wird ein offizieller Cup um 1500€ Preisgeld in 2 Premierships stattfinden!

Die erste Gruppenphase wird mit 16 Teams in 4 Gruppen statt finden. Die besten zwei jeder Gruppe kommen in die entscheidende und finale Liga. In dieser werden also 8 Teams alle gegeneinander antreten und unter den besten 3 clans wird das Preisgeld von 1.500€ verteilt.

Um am Cup teilzunehmen werden verschiedene Qualifier Cups veranstaltet. Alle Informationen dazu gibt es unter folgenden Links:

Nach zu langer Wartezeit hat bani die Final von ETpro 3.2.6 veröffentlicht.
Da unser Server (IP: 81.169.131.211:27971) bereits mit dem neuen ETpro läuft (und selbstverständlich schon seit langem mit dem neuesten Patch) benötigen Spieler nun den Patch 2.60b um Connecten zu können.

    if a mapscripthash is specified, and the hash of the loaded
    mapscript does not match, an error message is sent to all
    clients, and the config is cleared.

    the hash of the current script is stored in the readonly server
    cvar b_mapscripthash, so clients or server admins can query it.

  • Also improved config error handling. Now all parse errors
    result in the config being completely cleared, and a message
    broadcast to connected clients.


LUA changes:

Specinvite Improvements:

  • show spectator invite status in /players.
    Where /players previously showed a red X for axis
    or a blue L for allies, it shows the following for spectators
    SH shoutcaster
    SB invited both teams
    SX invited axis only
    SL invited allies only
    S not invited
    This could be made more verbose if people think it is too obscure.
  • add specuninvite command. Refs and shoutcasters
    may not be invited or uninvited


Bugfixes:

  • #935 - fireteam invite confused by numbers in names,
    breaks when using ft menu too
  • #936 - players may suddenly drown if they go directly
    from waterlevel 0 to/from 3
  • #939 - etpro doesn't play the the prepare and fight sounds
    when unpaused
  • #954 - setcs rcon abuse
  • #948 - using a fixed MG pauses panzerfaust
  • #955 - some trigger_objective_info fields cannot be modified
    from mapscript. We now allow trigger_objective_info fields to be
    changed in mapscript spawn section. Some (spawnflags, customimage,
    score, target, track, message) must be changed in the first frame,
    or first 3 frames.
  • #949 - don't leave the player with an empty grenade
    launcher (weapalt bug);
  • #962 - revive can leave you with an empty rifle grenade
    launcher
  • #957 - weaponbank 10 crashes the client
  • Prevent antiwarp circumvention via pmove_fixed
  • #961 - Having too many counters drawn crashes the cgame
  • #969 - accum buffer index validation is borked. allow 10
    global or local accums, and correctly print an error if the script
    tries to use too many.
  • #970 - some items in the etpro config menu first page cannot
    be bound. make resettimer, opentimerinput selectbuddy 6 and 7
    bindable in menu.
  • fix scripting bug with thinktime causing thinks to get missed -

  • #965 - clients should no longer be able to get other client's ip
  • #966 - clients can force other clients to disconnect by generating
    a lot of commands Three server cvars were added for #966:

    b_floodKickRate - continious commands/sec, default 15
    b_floodKickBurst - max commands in a burst, default 20
    b_floodKickTime - time to kick flooders for, default 0

    The default values should keep flooders from lagging others off the server.

  • #xxx - Fix a bug that let you use prone to go through walls via wedging yourself and turning, with the legs *slightly* a way from the wall, but not far enough
  • #xxx - Prevent players from shoving players that are stuck in another player - e.g. after revive, someone's standing in them.
  • #xxx - Fix g_initialCamera buffer overrun
  • #983 - mapscript cvar commands are broken
  • #977 - clients show wrong warmup info if match is paused in warmup before countdown
  • #984 - workaround for bug in nvidia 91.xx drivers not displaying commandmap icons properly

ET-Minimod: Leon Weaponskins

3 different skins. This file changes glossy looks of all weapons to non-glossy. Does not affect other glossy world surfaces - like ice or other. I reskinned MG42 for RtCW with cooling holes for realism. This file changes ET original Colt with Smith & Wesson 1911.

ET-Mod: ETPub Global Rankings Server Active

In einer News macht Calzonzin darauf aufmerksam, das ET-Pub jetzt über einen Global Ranking Server verfügt.
Es handelt sich allerdings noch um eine Alpha Version.
Um die Spieler seines ET-Pub Server's auch global ranken zu lassen, muss man die letzte "linux nightly build" Version installieren oder nicht allzu lange auf Version 0.7.1 warten.

This modification gives the menu of "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory" a new look and feel.

Liga4Fun sucht noch 6on6 ET Clans

Leider gab's ein paar Ausfälle in der 6on6 ET und wir suchen kurzfristig drei 6on6 ET Clans, Ligastart wäre heute!

Gespielt wird in der Standard-Liga: Siwa Oasis (wen beide Clans wollen auch b3), Fuel Dump, Gold Rush (wen beide Clans wollen sw_goldrush), Würzburg Radar, Seawall Battery und Supplydepot 2.

ET-Tool: ETFakt 0.3.2.04

ETFakt is a tool made for Enemy Territory players. It is a Win32-program running synchronous to ET and interacts with ET in order to improve your game-play. Please read on the feature list to get an impression what it can do for you.

The name "ETFakt" is a abbreviation out of the german. "Fakt" is my short word for "Faktotum" which means "servant, butler for all".

PlanetQuakeWars.net Contest

Da es bis zum Release von Enemy Territory: Quake Wars noch einige Zeit dauern wird, veranstaltet Planet Quakewars mit Activision einen Quake Wars Contest. Es kann eigentlich jeder einen der begehrten Preise gewinnen welcher über einen Funken Kreativität verfügt.

Um mitmachen zu können müsst Ihr Euch kreativ betätigen. Dies kann wie folgt aussehen: Wallpaper erstellen, Comics zeichnen, Videos zusammenschneiden und neu vertonen, PlanetQuakeWars Logo erstellen, ein neues Seitendesign erstellen für unsere Seite, Clansite Template erstellen, Geschichten schreiben über QuakeWars,Flash Animationen oder Games erstellen

Zu gewinnen gibt es Mouse-Pads, Poster und T-Shirts.

ET-Map: SW Fueldump (Beta 3)

After some time of silence and discussing gameplay improvements we are proud to release the 3rd beta version of the mapmod SW Fueldump.

Changes: The shortest Route to roof is now ~10 seconds by blocking the truckspawn ladder with a set of barrels. The old route was 4 seconds which made defence too easy for axis. The truckspawn now only has one exit which should make spawncamping fairly easy for allies. Nobody forces

axis to spawn there, it's just an additional option. The high fueljump should finally be fixed (i.e. not possible anymore).ET-Scene

Diane, Teil des G6/TeamTerminator Development Team, berichtet in einer News über neue Features der Mod.
Coroner finalisiert das Lightning aller sieben Release-Maps.
Die Maps werden über High Dynamic Range (HDR) Lightmap Technology und Dynamic Eye Adaptation verfügen.
Vorteil ist ein höherer Grad an Realismus.

Ein Modeller hat TC:E verlassen, was einige Probleme mit sich brachte.
Die Entwicklung geht, auch wegen Real-Life Verpflichtungen der Teammember, langsamer voran.

Allies Spawn originally inside the mountain at the bottom of a hill and need to capture the Guardhouse Flag to Spawn there. The Guardhouse spawn is much like the one on Oasis. Axis Spawn originally in the Guardhouse infront of the Castle and must build the Drawbridge Lever Access Door in the opposite Guardhouse and the netural command post located there as well. Allies need to capture the Guardhouse, Dyno the Drawbridge Lever Access Door, construct the command
post and Build the Bridge across the Mote, also lower the Drawbridge. Once Allies capture the Guardhouse the Axis Spawn inside the Castle Courtyard and must keep the Allies from entering the Castle and from Blowing the main Gate. The Allies need to enter the Castle and Blow the Main Gate and capture the Courtyard. Once the Main Gate is Blown the Guardhouse Spawn becomes permanent for the Allies. On top of the Castle Roof is where the Key to the Heavy Water Facility Door is. Allies Can Not enter to get the Key until the Main Gate is Blown! Once the Main Gate is Blown Allies need to Capture the Courtyard to make the Assault on the Roof easier. (This is a capturable flag that can be held by either team until the Key is taken to the Heavy Water Facility Door at which point the Courtyard becomes a permanent Allied Spawn). Note: The Main Gate does not have to be Blown for the Allies to be able to capture the Courtyard, there are other entrances, once inside the Castle, for allies to get to the courtyard however the Main Gate can only be blown from the Drawbridge Side of the Gate. If Allies capture the Courtyard then the Axis spawn on the Third floor in the Back of the Castle with access to the roof and the rest of the Castle. Inside the Building on top of the Roof Allies can go inside the first floor of that building but Can Not enter the second floor where the Obj (Key) is until the Main Gate is Blown, i have it set up where the doors remain Locked untill the Gate is blown. Once the Main Gate is Blown the Allies must press a button to unlock the doors to gain access to the Obj area. (there are 2 doors on the first floor of the Obj building and the buttons are located right next to the doors). Once Allies get the Key Obj they must take it from the Roof to the First Floor of the Castle to the Back of the Castle where the Heavy Water Facility Door is located. When the Allied Player reaches the Door with the Key Obj then that door is unlocked and the Player must press the button located on that door to open it. Note: When the Key Obj is successfully taken to the HW Door then the Courtyard Spawn becomes permanent for the Allies and the Axis Spawn underground with access to Both Heavy Water Machines for defense. The Allies Spawn at the Courtyard Spawn and must go to the underground area and Dyno Both of the Heavy Water Machines to win.ET-Maps

Das Team um Snake arbeit zur Zeit an einer TC (Total Conversion) für Enemy Territory. Wirklich innovativ ist diese Mod nicht, aber dafür sorgt sie für mehr Abwechslung nach gut 3 Jahren ET. Auch etwas Anschauungsmaterial gibt es schon zu bestaunen und natürlich dürfen bekannte Sachen wie Multikill, Monsterkill, Doublekill, Hitsounds, Watermark nicht fehlen. ET-TC: ET² - Presentation Wanted

Die im Januar begonnene Modifikation "ET²" steht kurz vor der ersten Veröffentlichung der Beta 1 und möchte diese natuerlich auch representativ vorstellen können. Dazu wird jemand gesucht, der sich mit Videomaking auskennt und einen Hang zum Retro Style hat. Es soll ein kleiner Trailer gebastelt werden, der die wichtigsten Modifikationen wiederspiegelt und zeigt was "ET²" zu bieten hat. Wer sich also angesprochen fühlt kann sich im ET² Forum registrieren. Mal kein übliches Fragmovie zur Abwechslung sondern eine echte Herausforderung. Zu diesem Zweck werden sich auch einige Helfer auf dem ET² Server tummeln und sich alle Mühe geben, die Mod ordendlich zu presentieren.

ET-Mod: Powerup Visualization (Alpha 1)

Der Clientseitige Mod von nUllSkillZ Visualisiert Powerups nahe wie in Q3. Visualisiert wird (wie auf dem Screenshot) Resapwn/Revive, benutzung von Adrenalin und der Objective-Carrier.

The mod visualizes the usage of the so called powerups Q3-like. Like invulnerability (after respawn / revive), usage of adrenaline and carrying of objectives.

RtCW-SP-Maps: Operation Trondheim (Pt. 1+2)

Part 1: SPECIAL FORCES

1. Your RTCW must be installed in C:\
2. Unzip the file Trondheim.zip in C:\Return to Castle Wolfenstein
2. Play the game with shortcut.
3. In main menu choose "play" and after your skill and good luck Soldier.
4. Otherwise change the destination path of the shortcut!

Part 2: RED ALERT

1. Make a backup of the files mentioned below of the original RTCW game, because they will be substituted:
a) cgamex86.dll
b) qagamex86.dll
2. Unzip all files to RTCW directory
3. Play the addon with shortcut "Red Alert.ink"
4. After you finish the addon, replace the "files.dll" in your original game.

Note: The shortcut only will work if the game be installed in C:\, except you it should change the properties of the shortcut indicating the new way.Google

The Axis and Allied forces have setup a swap. Each side is acting alone without headquarters knowledge. The allies are to exchange a high ranking prisoner they have captured for a large quantity of gold the axis had stolen in a raid. The exchange is to take place at noon. Each side has decided to abandon the deal and secure their objectives before the exchange is to take place.
