= Return to Castle Wolfenstein Tools = = RtCW .BSP to .MAP Converter =
A very handy map-making tool for Return to Castle Wolfenstein mappers, either new or experienced. The "comdlg32.ocx" file is also included in the download, with instructions on how to install it. = Usage Information = # Run DeBSP.EXE and [Browse] for the BSP file you wish to decompile, (It can decompile any quake engine map except SOF maps). Once you have picked the file you wish to decompile press the [Decompile] button and a MAP file will be created in the same folder as the BSP and with the same name. # Please do not use this tool to rip other people's maps off. Just use it to gain more knowledge about map making. Always give credit to original map-makers. Download the converter HERE «back |

Thanks for the link, Mateos. # 11 von Mateos I meant this RtCW .BSP to .MAP Converter is from 2001. # 10 von Mateos Decompilateur: http://www.wolffiles.de/index.php?filebase&fid=1810 ^Doesn't seem to require .NET; Well, checked the file TXT, it's for 2001 ^^' # 9 von Motorhead Thanks for your advice, Mateos. I'll look into updating my .NET Framework for my OS, do you have a download link for Decompilateur? # 8 von Mateos ... Try to use a different Q3Map2, still it's strange that the one with 1.6 doesn't work, the code hasn't been changed in ages :/ Not a lot of people have the knowledge to edit this kind of software # 7 von Mateos Well, I have several Radiant versions installed, and for decompiling as I said I use Decompilateur and never had issues (I just think you have to make sure some .NET Framework package is installed). Try to use a different Q3Map2, still it's strang # 6 von Motorhead ....but there's no .MAP file at the end of it. Rather strange, I may have to uninstall GTK Radiant. # 5 von Motorhead I'm using the x86 version, Mateos. To try and combat what's happened, since I installed GTK Radiant, I tried to use this method: http://forum-thetent.getgoo.net/t5-...-bsp-to-map-and-q3map2-exe-commands I go through the whole process, but t # 4 von Mateos Maybe (can't edit comments >.>); RtCW is well supported so should work :/ # 3 von Mateos Use the x86 version of Q3Map2, not the x64 # 2 von Motorhead This worked well for me, then I installed GTK Radiant 1.6 and after that I get this error message: unknown BSP format IBSP, version 47. # 1 von Mateos OCX file... Looks like adapted from old software like Q3Map2 Tools... Decompilateur does this too, for RtCW/ET/ETQW « back |
