ET-Map: Industry 2 (Final)

Die zweite Version der Map Industry von cyburk liegt endlich als Final vor.

Changes from Industry 1: game time is set to 30 Minutes, tank barrier 1 has to be build from the start, no allied team door, health and ammo cabinet, little bit more cover here and there, second spawns for allies and axis, more ways, sounds for tank damage/repair.

Main: Escort the Tank to the Bunker and blow the Doors. Dynamite the Safe and steal the Secret Documents. Build the Fieldradio to transmit the Secret Orders. In this Mission the Command Post is very important cause it activates Spawnpoints near the Bunker.

Nocturne hat die Map Goldrush einfach gespiegelt. Allerding sind auch ein paar Bugs enthalten: truck entity is outside truck skin, some doors are misfromed, tank turret turns in the wrong direction.

Fuel is no longer needed. Both teams have the same objective: Get your tank to the Fuel Dump before the enemy gets his there! If the time limit expires the winning team is the one which has made the most progress with their tank.

TC:E - Maps, Models & Accessoires

As promised here is a little update on how things are going. At the moment we are progressing steadily with all things mentioned in the previous post (mapping, modelling, skinning and coding). We currently have 1 new weapon, the Aug assault rifle that has been fully modelled and skinned as well as few others that have yet to be unveiled. The mapping is coming along nicely with only minor fixes and cosmetics being done to a couple of maps. Speaking of mapping some of you may have noticed on the WIP page I have posted a few shots of a very famous TC map and yes you have all guessed right it's bahamut.

Traumahawk has been frantically working on the player’s accessories. Some might overlook these as they are accessories to the player’s look but as I’m sure you’ll agree they are certainly worth the great deal of time that has been invested in them. These include a newly modelled and UV mapped body vest with the help of Ian aka gizmo also magazine and utility pouches. To compliment this new body vest and accessories a new radio has been modelled and skinned also.

ET-Map: Bridges (Final)

The Axis are attempting to escape Eastwards from Northern Italy with a train cargo of booty. To do this they need to fix the train with the spares on the truck. Trouble is that the Allies are on to them! The map is made up of 3 open areas connected by road and rail tunnels. The objectives are vehicles; the Spares Truck and the Train and damagable bridges to stop them. Axis have to take the Spares Truck across the map to the Train which can then be fixed. Then they must get the Train back across the map to the cargo to win.

Enemy-Territory: Quake Wars Update

Today I had the privilidge to watch the ET Quake Wars trailer!

Today was setup day at E3 and the Activision booth was ready to rock and roll, amazingly I was less interested in the Quake4 and CoD2 sections as I walked straight towards the ET: Quake Wars section!!!

I have to say, when Trillian told me about this on the taxi from the Airport I thought it was an April Fools joke, and then I cast my memory back, to a newspost about a space based FPS that Splash Damage was working on, and bang this was certainly it.

The Trailer certainly worries me that my Panzerfaust skills may soon be "modernised" (well they werent really skills anyway) - However the trailer, reminded me more of Dune 2000, with air units and tanks, throw in the new weapons and combat types, it certainly does not have an MP40! However it includes some form a class system, with medics now using shock paddles to revive people rather than the old fashioned syringes. There was a huge variety of weapons in a whole variety ranges of weapons that were on display.

I certainly cannot draw any facts from this, and I'm only going on the minute or so of trailer that was on offer, however it is safe to say this game has no Axis or Allies!

ET-Tool: BBQ-Bot 0.40

Marko hat Version 0.40 seines Tools BBQ-Bot für ET veröffentlicht.

BBQ Bot is an Enemy Territory server administration tool designed to run directly on servers. The bot parses all game events information and sends events back to the server or to an IRC channel.

BBQ therefore offers the opportunity to automatically control certain features of the server such as getting rid of people who keep swearing or insulting others by casting swear strikes. After a certain amount of strikes, the player will be kicked 1 minute from the server he is playing on.

The bot can also be used to remote administrate a server. Indeed, specific alerts can be triggered in player chats and send a specific alert to the channel. This means players can easily report a spawn killer or a request for an admin to come on the server by typing a message such as !admin or !spawnkiller (those commands can be completely customised).

RtCW-TC: DeGeneration Neuerungen mit Patch

Ein Update für DeGeneration ist momentan in der Arbeit. Ausser den Bugfixes kommen noch folgende Neuerungen hinzu:

- better weapon switching abilities in deathmatch
- hitsounds for all gametypes

- salute other players

Kleines, auf den Standard-Skins basierendes, Skinpack für Achsenmächte und Alliierte. Die Klassensymbole wurden entfernt, dafür kamen zur besseren Unterscheidung neue Rucksäcke und Helme hinzu.
Dieses Skinpack enthält keine Configs oder Scripts und kann daher ohne weiteres auf ETpro-Servern laufen da es nicht automatisch zum Client heruntergeladen wird.

RtCW-Map: Axis Rail Checkpoint (Final)

Kaum jemand hätte es gedacht, aber von than kommt nach dem Erscheinen von ET ein RtCW-Map.

Allied forces are attempting to determine the location of a weapons train carrying V2 rockets by stealing a logbook from an Axis rail checkpoint.

ET-Mod: Noobmod Beta 2 ist erschienen

Soeben habe ich die Beta 2 von meinem Noobmod freigegeben.

Neu in der Beta 2:

  • Die von Chruker und tjw veröffentlichten Bugfixes
  • Einige kleinere Bugfixes von mir
  • Gibs bei explodierten Spielern, steuerbar über cg_gibs
  • Ein forcecvar System, ähnlich dem von ETPro

Der Mod läuft auf unserem Transmitter Server unter:

Hinweis für ein Upgrade von Beta 1 auf Beta 2:
Die z_noobmod.pk3 ist nichtmehr nötig und kann vom Server gelöscht werden, da alle Clientseitigen Daten jetzt in der z_noobmod_client.pk3 enthalten sind. Der noobmod Client muß auf dem Server sein, da er jetzt er erzwungen wird.

Bitte beachtet, es handelt sich um eine Beta. Bugs sind also keineswegs ausgeschlossen.
